Tim Calvert
Tim started working for the
company at age 15 as a helper, then later on as an
installer of railing. After serving a tour in the Navy (Submarine Service) he
returned
to Maryland. In 1964 James W Calvert Sr. passed away, and Tim and his brother
Jim
took over the operation of the business.
Tim holds a degree in Small Business Administration. He was also on the board of
directors for the Maryland Home Improvement Contractors Association for ten
years, and
worked in the Dale Carnegie program for a number of years as a Graduate
Assistant.
Tim enjoys a number of hobbies including volleyball and traveling. On Saturdays,
he can
often be found working as a volunteer on the museum submarine USS TORSK SS479 in
Baltimore's inner harbor. Tim's duties with the company include bookkeeping,
ordering of
inventory, and sales and financial planning.
